Urban Plates UPLift Fund

Brief Description:

Our Team Members make it possible for us to create the memorable Urban Plates experience our Guests know and love. We focus on people and restaurants one at a time and we care for Our People one at a time.

In the spirit of taking care of each other, Urban Plates offers emergency assistance to Team Members facing an unanticipated hardship, within the past three months, such as illness, injury, death of an immediate family member, natural disaster, or housing disaster. Grants up to $2,500 and are funded by Team Members like you.

The UPLift Fund is powered by Restaurants Care (a nonprofit program of the California Restaurant Foundation).

Eligibility Requirements:

Requests will be reviewed for all current Urban Plates Team Members who have experienced a life-altering event in the last three months.
  • Upload documents according to your crisis: 
    • Death in the family - upload death certificate, obituary, funeral expenses
    • Illness or injury - upload doctor's note or medical bill
    • Housing disaster - upload photo or insurance claim 
    • Natural disaster - upload photo or insurance claim
