UC Cares, powered by Restaurants Care (a nonprofit program of the California Restaurant Foundation), offers emergency assistance to Urbane Cafe team members facing an unanticipated hardship within the last three months such as: illness, injury, death of an immediate family member, natural disaster or housing disaster. UC Cares Fund is powered by Restaurants Care (a nonprofit program of the California Restaurant Foundation).

In the spirit of taking care of each other, Urbane Cafe offers emergency assistance to team members facing an unanticipated hardship, within at least the past three months.

Grants cover cost of living expenses for life-altering events such as illness, injury, death of an immediate family member, natural disaster, or housing disaster. Grants up to $2,500 and are funded by team members like you!

Eligibility Requirements:

Requests will be reviewed for all current Urbane Cafe team members who contribute to the fund, have been with the company for three months, and have experienced a life-altering event within the last three months.

Upload documents according to your crisis:

Death in the family - upload death certificate, obituary, funeral expenses
Illness or injury - upload doctor's note or medical bill
Housing disaster - upload photo or insurance claim
Natural disaster - upload photo or insurance claim
