$5,000 Grants to Restaurants and Caterers – Apply by April 26

Restaurants are the heartbeat of any community – small businesses that employ thousands and enrich communities. When restaurants thrive, communities thrive. The Restaurants Care Resilience Fund is offering $5,000 grants to independent restaurants and caterers in select California counties to invest in kitchen equipment, technology upgrades, employee training, and unexpected hardships. These grants are designed to help restaurants strengthen their business, support their teams, and prepare for the future. Grants are powered by generous donations from The PG&E Corporation Foundation and SoCalGas.

$10,000 Grants for LA Restaurants Impacted by Fires – Apply by April 26!

Restaurants are the heart of LA’s neighborhoods – small businesses that employ thousands and enrich communities. By supporting LA restaurants we’re supporting the comeback of the city itself.  Through the Restaurants Care Resilience Fund – LA Fire Recovery Grants, we’re providing $10,000 grants to over 240 independent restaurants and food trucks in LA County impacted by the fires. These funds, made possible by generous donations from American Express, Resy, Postmates, and FireAid, can be used for a restaurant’s greatest need in its recovery.

Galardi Group, Inc. operates and franchises Wienerschnitzel restaurants as well as Tastee Freez and Hamburger Stand (referred to as “Wienerschnitzel” collectively throughout the application).

The California Restaurant Foundation (CRF) is proud to partner with the Guy Fieri Foundation to present The 2025-26 Guy Fieri Foundation Scholarship application. The application deadline for both undergraduate and high school seniors is May 1, 2025. Scholarship awards range from $2,000 - $4,000.

The Lazy Dog Care Fund is powered by Restaurants Care (a nonprofit program of the California Restaurant Foundation).

In the spirit of taking care of the
Family That You Love, Lazy Dog offers emergency assistance to teammates facing an unanticipated hardship that occurred within the past three months, such as an accident, illness, injury, death of an immediate family member, or natural disaster. Grants range from $250-$1500 and are funded by teammates like you.
The Los Angeles fires DO NOT qualify for this application. To apply for fire relief please apply here- 2025 California Fires

Restaurants Care offers emergency assistance to California restaurant workers facing an unanticipated hardship such as: accident, illness, injury, death of an immediate family member or natural disaster. If you are in need of assistance, please complete the application form. All grant requests will be reviewed. Restaurants Care grants are awarded to eligible individuals based on available funds and limited to one per individual. Typical grants range from $250-$2500.

We cannot fund requests due to unemployment or lost hours from Covid.

UC Cares, powered by Restaurants Care (a nonprofit program of the California Restaurant Foundation), offers emergency assistance to Urbane Cafe team members facing an unanticipated hardship within the last three months such as: accident, illness, injury, death of an immediate family member or natural disaster. If you are in need of assistance, please complete this application form.
Our Team Members make it possible for us to create the memorable Urban Plates experience our Guests know and love. We focus on people and restaurants one at a time and we care for Our People one at a time.

In the spirit of taking care of each other, Urban Plates offers emergency assistance to Team Members facing an unanticipated hardship, within the past three months, such as an accident, illness, injury, death of an immediate family member, or natural disaster. Grants range from $500-$1500 and are funded by Team Members like you.
