$10,000 hardship grants for independent restaurants, food trucks, and caterers affected by the Hollywood strikes. Grants are designated for employee payroll and retention – providing stability to our food community. Restaurants Care is proud to offer resilience grants to 170+ independent restaurants, food trucks, and caterers at the heart of our communities. Since 2021, the Restaurants Care Resilience Fund has strengthened 972 small businesses.

Galardi Group, Inc. operates and franchises Wienerschnitzel restaurants as well as Tastee Freez and Hamburger Stand (referred to as “Wienerschnitzel” collectively throughout the application).

The Lazy Dog Care Fund is powered by Restaurants Care (a nonprofit program of the California Restaurant Foundation).

In the spirit of taking care of the
Family That You Love, Lazy Dog offers emergency assistance to teammates facing an unanticipated hardship that occurred within the past three months, such as an accident, illness, injury, death of an immediate family member, or natural disaster. Grants range from $250-$1500 and are funded by teammates like you.
This grant is for restaurant workers NOT small businesses. The grant application for small businesses will open on April 15th here https://restaurantscare.org/resilience/


Restaurants Care offers emergency assistance to California restaurant workers facing an unanticipated hardship such as: accident, illness, injury, death of an immediate family member or natural disaster. If you are in need of assistance, please complete the application form. All grant requests will be reviewed. Restaurants Care grants are awarded to eligible individuals based on available funds and limited to one per individual. Typical grants range from $250-$2500.

We cannot fund requests due to unemployment or lost hours from Covid.

If you are in need of assistance, please complete this application form.

In the spirit of taking care of each other, Urban Plates offers emergency assistance to Team Members facing an unanticipated hardship, within the past three months, such as an accident, illness, injury, death of an immediate family member, or natural disaster. Grants range from $500-$1500 and are funded by Team Members like you.
